Rachel is more than an Acupuncturist, she's a true healer! While I've worked with other Acupuncturists in the past, Rachel was the first one I've met that really treated me with focused, personalized care. Super attentive and caring, Rachel uses each session to treat me holistically and to answer any and all of my questions or concerns. Her background in Chinese medicine, acupuncture and meditation is comprehensive and her vast experience with several fertility clinics, doctors and acupuncturists in the Bay Area makes her a wonderful resource. Rachel Schaefer, LAc has been my acupuncturist for over 2 years. I have seen her both for acute health issues and currently for monthly maintenance. There are so many things I appreciate about Rachel. The most important to me is her vast knowledge of the body’s anatomy and physiology. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Gerontology myself, I appreciate being able to talk with Rachel about my medical concerns on a more advanced level; she never ceases to amaze me with her understanding of how the body works as well as having an expert understanding of many medications.
